The nature of God is to forgive those who fear him., read Psalm 107 for yourself. Almost every sin imaginable is mentioned and forgiven. King David not only was an adulterer but he caused the brave and loyal husband be in harms way. Even he was forgiven. Remember this is before the LORD sent his son Jesus to be a sacrifice for us and make grace more obtainable.
Remember the Blessings in Matthew 5, John 20, Luke 7 and Revelation:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake”
John 20:29 “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed”
Luke 7:23 “And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me”
Rev 22:14 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
“Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you”
Remember: Once you repent and learn to forgive read the Book of Revelation. It’s the only book in the bible that explicitly promises blessings if you read or hear it and keep its sayings.
Remember: Who your Father is and the power of Jesus.
Luke 10 18-20 “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents andscorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
