Ezekiel 11 4-13
“Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man. 5 And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them. 6 Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain. 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. 8 Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord God. 9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you. 10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. 11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel: 12 And ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you. 13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”
OK, this does not sound so great until you read further, and before you call your Doctor of a anti-depresent let’s see what the “Great Physician” Jesus the son of the living and only true God says about troubles of the world:
John 16 33
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.“
Ezekiel 11 14-19
”Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the Lord: unto us is this land given in possession. 16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. 17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. 18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh. That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. 21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God.”
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.”
more abundantly = (perissos per-is-sos’)G = superabundant, superior in quality, very highly beyond.
Do you get this? You will know so much more of what true wealth really is that we hardly even use words this powerful any more. Did you even know the word superabundant existed? Neither did I, and it’s not even in my spelling checker. Also do you see how merciful God truly is? Even during judgment he gives people a last chance.
Revelation 14 6:7
”And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
See you still have a chance, the end has not yet come (As of January 29th 2013, 7:41PM EDT) But you must repent! We don’t know when he’s coming, not even his Angles know the day or hour. So, REPENT NOW, Beware of the Warning in:
Revelation 14 9:10
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus”
Remember God knows all thoughts. Yours, your adversaries, his minions. He Knows All things. He is God Almighty. Be of good cheer, and may Jesus bless you.
Psalms 49 1:20
“Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: * 2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together. 3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. 4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp. 5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about? 6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; 7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: 8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) 9 That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. 10 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. 11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. * 12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. 13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah. * 14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. * * 15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. * * 16 Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; 17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. 18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself. * 19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light. * 20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.”
Got this after what I believe was moment that an “enemy” thought they may have succeeded in some matter. God is in charge and sees all and knows all and Jesus’s salvation is still available.
Jesus says we are to forgive our enemies.
Matthew 18 21:22
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
If Jesus expects us as sin prone humans to forgive 490 times a day don’t think he is even more Merciful and Forgiving? So don’t listen to any Apostate or other source that tells you’ve grieved the Holy Spirit or that Jesus won’t forgive you. That’s up to Jesus to decide. Pray to him and remember he will never leave or forsake you. He is the good Shepard. In Revelation he does warn the Churches he takes their candle sticks, but God’s mercy undurs forever for those that fear and obey him and if you are blessed and believe in Jesus, you know God.
I Don’t Know You but I Love You:
The time for fun & games is over. God’s judgement is in operation on the earth and you really need to examine yourself and repent. Do you know the golden rule that Jesus speaks of? Do you know the 10 commandments of God? How about the new commandment of Jesus:
John 13 34:35
“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. ”
You might think your fine, but please go into the word of God for yourself and ask Jesus to send you the Holy Spirit. You might find out that your not so great. I know i’m not and need Jesus and though I’ve know many fine men and women.
Romans 3 23
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
Reading the Bible for myself showed me:
- God is good, almighty, loving, holy and just
- Humanity is flawed
- The Bible is not “riddled with inconsistencies”
- God gives blessing to those who follow Him
- God’s love for us is so great, He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die on the cross, becoming the perfect sacrifice for our sins
- No political point of view accurately represents God’s law
So please repent
“And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?”
When there is a God that sees all and knows all why would people mock him and go after people that will perish when God judges the earth? (Less they repent) Pray in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ for guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Do you know what’s going to happen to these kinds of people?
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee”
Abominations to the LORD God suffer wrath. It might not be right away because he even gave Jezebel time to repent, but it’s going to happen.
If you do seek after these type of people or are one, I encourage and pray for you to repent.
Do you Remember the Joy when you Accepted Jesus of Nazareth as your Savior?
The book of Revelation has many warnings for the Churches, and one of them is:
Revelation 2 4:5 (KJV)
“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent”
First (protos pro’tos)G4413= foremost importance
Love (agape ag-ah’-pay)G26= affection or benevolence; (plural) a love-feast:–(feast of) charity(-ably), dear, love.
Revelation 2 4:5 (OrthJBC)
“But I have this against you, that you abandoned your Ahavah HaRishonah. [Yirmeyah 2:2] 5 Therefore, let there be zikaron (remembrance) of from where you have fallen and make teshuva (repentance, turning from sin to G-d) and do the Ma’asim HaRishonim; but, if not, I am coming to you (pl.) and I will remove your menorah, from its place, unless you make teshuva. ”
Ahavah= As in a state of love-sickness, in which the mind cannot is constantly obsessed by his/her beloved
Ha= the Rishonah= First
Ma’asim= Works Ha= the Rishonim= first former foremost
Which is God whos is, who was the first and shall be the last. Therefor remember God, be in awe of him and his only begotten Son. Remember the Joy and overwhelming feeling you had? Love for all things and all people and an overwhelming joy of knowing you were not alone and loved. Well it’s still there inside you and God has not changed. God’s compassion is never failing. It appears LOVE and caring for each other is what the enemy and his minions are trying to diminish in us. Don’t let them! For by the words of God they shall be a thing as naught (less they repent)
I received this directed reading before, sometime in 2010 and today.
Jeremiah 16 11:13
“Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; 12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: * 13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. “
I feel this was in regards to another word of God I received where he is talking about the abominations done in his sanctuaries. Although the word Israel’s definition is ”He will rule as God, Jisrael a symbolic name of Jacob” Also I think Israel can mean those who claim to worship him, not just Jewish people. ,
Ezekiel 8 6:13
”He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. 7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall. 8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door. 9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. 10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about. 11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up. 12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth. 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do”
Ironically this came to me just before a Church that I once attended performed a secular play IN THE WORSHIP CENTER that had a character in it called Ko-Ko the Lord High Executioner that enters on stage numerous times reading off a list of people:
“who would not be missed” if they were executed “As some day it may happen” Does that sound like something Christ would say or more like something an Anti-Christ would say? Repenting is still an option.
What are the characteristics of the Church of Philadelphia?
- They speak the Truth.
- Faithful and Christ honoring.
Let’s take a closer look at these characteristics and see what they mean and how we may apply them to our current church.Small:
By small I think we can safely say intimate and friendly. I know when I travel I always go to a church that seems to pull at me even if it is not of my confessed denomination. It’s amazing how different my experiences have been. Some mega churches managed to make me feel part of the body of Christ while some of the smaller churches made me feel like I was visiting a scene out of Steven Kings “Children of the Corn”!
The point is people, no matter what the size of the church make the difference. While ushers may be seen as the primary ambassadors of Christ to new visitors, every person in the church body can either add or subtract from the genuine Christ like feeling radiating from that church.
There are churches today that wish to become spiritual fly paper. While they bring many people into the knowledge of the Gospel and up to the gateway of salvation. Few are willing to graduate their flock into the world to truly serve God. More time is spent in bureaucratic meetings then evangelizing Christ. While some serve by doing good works, others through bible study, most edify themselves in all manner of vain activities. They’re busy places but lack significant “spiritual heat.”
If you have reached a point in your life where you understand:
- God is God
- The Bible is True
- Christ is who he says he is
Then it’s time for you to do the will of Christ who saved you! Organized worship is essential, fellowship with True Christians should be a comfort in a cruel world, but there comes a time when you need to “Go tell it on the mountain!”
The 12 apostles stayed with Christ while he was on the earth but after he ascended they went their own ways spreading the good news. Evangelism is not for everyone, but there is not a single one of us that can’t do more to serve the kingdom of God. Let us not be confused. A building can be a Church, but a Church is more than a building. If more time and effort is spent in that building than serving Christ in the world. You’re just a modern day idolater.
If we look at Jesus instructions, and specifically the rebuke of the seven churches in the book of Revelation. We can see the kind of church that Christ favors most is the church of Philadelphia. In fact it is the only type of church that will pass though tribulation unscathed.
This is what Jesus says about fasting:
Luke 5 34:35
“And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? 35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days why should they when the bridegroom is with them? “
So I prayed to be guided on the topic and was lead to these four fasts that are mentioned in Zechariah.
Tzom Tammuz: The Fast of the 4th Month.
17th of Tammuz(Jun/Jul)
This marks the falling of wall of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar and the cessation of Temple worship during the siege of Titus.
Tishah B’Av:The Fast of the 5th Month.
9th of Av(Jul/Aug)
A fast day remembering the tragedies of the Jewish people. Many people also fast on the first of Av, since this is the yahrzeit of Aaron the High Priest. The Fast of Tishah B’Av is the second most important fast in Judaism (next to Yom Kippur, which is the most important fast day). On the eve of the Tishah B’Av fast, it is customary to eat a boiled egg sprinkled with ashes…
Tzom Gedaliah: The Fast of the 7th Month.
The fast right after Rosh Hashanah honoring the murder of the Judean governor Gedaliah who was appointed by Nebuchadnezzar and served as a protectorate for the poor left behind in Judah. He listened to what God told Jeremiah the prophet: Jeremiah 40:9 “Fear not the to be servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the King of Babylon and it will be well with you” Unfortunately he didn’t listen to Johana and all of the all captains of the forces in the field who warned Gedaliah that Ishmael of the seed royal, was going to kill him. They even offered to go an kill Ishmael for him, in fear that the remnant of Judah would be scattered and perish.
Asarah B’Tevet: The Fast of the the 10th Month
10th of Tevet(Dec/Jan)
A fast day signifying the fall of the Jerusalem. In the State of Israel, Kaddish (the Jewish prayer for the deceased) is recited on this day for people whose date or place of death is unknown.
One thing I have to mention is that the disobedience of Ishmael came to me a few days before this post. The point is no one was listing to the man of God Jeremiah and his prophetic warning.
